Big Cat Creative Squarespace Template Review - Create Your Own Custom Website
I’ve been on the lookout for beautiful Squarespace templates to recommend to you all for ages, but after researching I was not inspired to recommend any. But then I discovered Big Cat Creative’s beautiful templates and knew they were the ones I wanted to share with you!
This is because, for some small businesses who are just starting out, you can’t fork out for a beautiful custom-made Squarespace website professionally designed for you. However, some of you have a lot of time to make one - you just don’t know how to get started! These Squarespace templates + training videos are the perfect remedy.

Beautiful Squarespace Templates
I was really happy finally finding some Squarespace templates I like, created by Big Cat Creative, and the founder Erica. I’m not usually all that impressed by Squarespace templates - but Erica’s packages fit the bill of being very unique looking, customizable and she shows you in step by step easy tutorials how to create it.
I’m reviewing the template “Victoria” and there are plenty of other templates to choose from as well.
After purchasing the template online, you are sent the login details for the members training area, that goes into the step-by-step video instructions to create your new Squarespace website.
You’ll Need To Spend A Bit Of Time Setting Up!
Make no mistake, it takes a large amount of time to set your new website up (and in the process you will probably wonder “why didn’t I just fork out the money for someone to make one for me?”) but I promise the end results are beautiful, and you also get the satisfaction of knowing how your website actually works so you can tweak it at any stage later on. (Big savings there!)

What You Get In Your Big Cat Creative Template Kit
Once you sign up, it’s actually more like you are enrolled in an online course. You get files and also editable images (you can use Canva or Photoshop to replace the images) and each module includes an easy to follow video.

Tips For Using The Template
These templates plus tutorials are really handy to actually learn along the way how to use your website.
The templates have the option of using either version 7.0 or 7.1 Squarespace, so you can choose whichever one you prefer. (Generally you are prompted to use the updated 7.1 by Squarespace when you create a new website).
Both versions have their own seperate training course, so it’s very easy to follow along.
If you already have your branding and images ready, I would recommend to adjust the fonts and colours to your own branding (rather than the Template’s ones) to save time while setting up. I say this, because it would be very easy to not think about it, and by the time you’ve completed the website you’ll realize you have to go back and make those font and colour changes again.
So if you are interested in creating your own website from scratch (but want it to look fantastic and unique) I recommend using these templates by Big Cat. It will take a fair amount of time creating, but if you have the time, and like the idea of being able to redesign and change your website style, this is an absolutely fantastic option for you.
